INTEGRITY ◊ FRIENDSHIP ◊ RESPECT ◊ SERVICE
The Supreme Grand Chapter of England is the governing body of Royal Arch Masons in England, Wales, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, and is based within Freemasons’ Hall and the administration of the Royal Arch and its Chapters has been entrusted by UGLE to the Supreme Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of England.
A Master Mason having completed the three degrees in his Craft lodge is then eligible to join a Chapter. Not all Lodges have a Chapters but many do. Joining a Chapter is considered to be the culmination of your masonic journey where you can increase your masonic knowledge and it is to be strongly recommended.
There are 96 Chapters in the Province of Yorkshire North and East Riding with 15 Chapters based within the City of Kingston upon Hull, each Chapter is assigned to a Craft Lodge and although the Holderness Lodge No.3563 does not have its own Chapter, this does not prevent any Master Mason from the Lodge from joining the Order.
